Ralphige (as he is referred to as) is a 24-year old businessman of Cuban-Brazilian descent who resides in Miramar, Florida (which is right up the road from me). This now infamous crank caller has made a name for himself by making and distributing recordings of himself playing jokes on global celebrities and local celebrities alike. Some of his more notable victims are Michael Jackson, Jay-Z, DJ Khaled, Paris Hilton, Scott Storch, Hulk Hogan, and many more. No one knows exactly who this jokester is and he would like to keep it that way, although he fears that his friends will turn on him because of the attention that media outlets (such as MTV) are giving him. Ralphige got off to a rocky start. His first crank call had repercussions. He was arrested and charged with stalking, harrassing, and obscene phone calls. Nevertheless, he is still at it. People wonder how he gets the phone numbers of these bigwigs. Ralphige says, “rappers’ entourages are probably the most disloyal”. He gets approximately 5 phone numbers a day by way of email, but says he is really after 50 cents’ digits now.
