Apparently, there is much controversy on the welfare between the rich and the super rich. As a dude from Silicon Valley puts it, “a few million doesn’t go as far as it used toâ€. The video above by the Onion News Network is mocking the topic, but there are many that the issue actually affects.Inequality among the rich is at its highest level. The space has doubled between mere millionaires and the richest billionaires. The actual stats read that the top 1% of income earners grew 57% between 1990 and 2004, which is nothing compared to the 80% it grew for the richest one-tenth of one percent.
According to a story by MSNBC $5 million is the new $1 million because a million dollars don’t go as far as it used to. This is due to various reasons ranging from longer life spans to the drastic rise in cost (which includes gas, housing, education, food, healthcare, etc.)
